by the end of August to qualify the Safe and Healthy Communities Initiative
for the March 2000 ballot.
We will collect more than this, to cover duplicates and invalid
names.
Unlike special interest groups that "buy" most of their
signatures - the Citizens for Safe and Healthy Communities are relying
on volunteers. Almost a thousand of your friends and neighbors have
already volunteered. Here's a chance to meet some nice people.
