About Project 99

Project 99 is a non-profit volunteer organization open to all Orange County citizens and others working to ensure the sensible reuse of the Marine Corps Base at El Toro. Larry Agran, former mayor of Irvine, is Voluntary Chair of Project 99.  Project 99 is affiliated with the Tides Center, one of America's leading non-profit organizations promoting healthy and environmentally secure communities.
