Airplane Noise Complaints

A web site viewer has observed, and heard planes flying on unusual routes and at late hours. She offers the following suggestions for making aircraft noise complaints:

"In order to increase profits, the airlines want to shave seconds off their flight times by cutting over quiet residential areas, rather than using the long-designated flight paths."

"The Federal Aviaiton Administration (FAA) through Southern California TRACON, controls flight paths..." "Orange County, through its Noise Abatement Office, is suppopsed to deal with noise."

Your are advised to note the time, place, flight path, aircraft type, and if applicable, the airline, as well as the nearest major cross streets and include that with your complaint. Call:
