"Patterns of Support for Proposed Airport at El Toro
Unchanged in Orange County in Latest CSUF/OCBC Surveys"

support or oppose building an international airport at the El Toro Marine
Corps Air Station?

"Even in northern Orange County, a small majority of respondents said
that they were either somewhat or strongly opposed to the airport proposal."
Those who are very opposed exceed those who are very supportive in north
county by over 10 percentage points.

550 randomly selected households took place in the survey between January 29th and March 6th, 2001.
"Don't know" responses, 8.2%, were excluded from the tabulations by CSUF.
